JORDAN SMITH BIO

Born in Corning, NY in 1989, Jordan Smith grew up in the rolling hills of upstate NY, and has always had a passion for creating and playing music since he was a young child. Jordan began his professional musical journey when he joined a traditional west african band in 2009. Jordan moved to the front range of Colorado in 2013, where he has since performed and recorded with a wide variety of musicians playing everything from blues, jazz, funk, bluegrass, and everything in between.

Jordan began playing bass with the band, when he answered a much needed call for sonic foundation to the group. Influenced by musicians like Tony Rice, Edgar Myer, Mandolin Orange, Tedeschi-Trucks Band, and The Grateful Dead, Jordan brings the steady vehicle that has driven The Legendary Kathouse Pickers since late 2016.
